    I am very excited to be the first to review Paula’s latest book! I absolutely loved Following the Leader and its companion e-toolkit. It is an excellent, step by step practical guide for Boards of Directors and both outgoing and incoming Executive Directors. It is very thorough and grounded in the work of people in the field at senior management levels while at the same time providing invaluable information from experts, researchers and management consultants/coaches. For those agencies who have no succession planning in place it is the ideal book and e-toolkit to use to get started on this much-needed process. It provides key information on considerations in preparing for an E-D’s departure and welcoming a new E-D on board. It is an invaluable resource for a new E-D or for anyone applying for this position to help him or her understand the complexities and challenges of the role. Thank you Paula for another great resource for this sector!!
